Public Transport

Pattaya is well served in terms of means of transport. First of all, it's possible to come from Bangkok by bus to the North Bus Terminal. It's also possible to arrive by train to Pattaya Railway Station or by Plane to U-tapao international airport (UTP) which is about 40 minutes by taxi from Pattaya. Once in Pattaya, the Pattaya Beach Bus company deserved most of the hotels in town with its 3 bus lines (the red line, yellow line and green line). Otherwise, pick-ups equipped for passenger transport also roam the city.

Tuk-tuk

Tuk-tuk is a semi-covered three-wheeled motorized vehicle used as a taxi in Thailand. It is possible to seat 3 passengers behind or a bit more if you're not afraid to be a little cramped. The engine of a tuk-tuk is generally powered by gas instead of gasoline.

V.I.P. Bus

V.I.P. Bus is a bus, esp. one that is comfortably equipped and used for longer journeys. It generally includes air con, wide reclining seats, video and toilet while a normal coach will be limited to fans and standard seats.
